The Maison Aegerter, located in Nuit-Saint-Georges, Côte-d’Or, is thriving in a region known for both its traditions and its innovations. The Aegerters believe that nature cannot be hurried. All the vintages, from the most accessible to the most exceptional, have one thing in common: they are the outcome of a resolutely modern vision and dynamic. The best of Burgundy’s terroirs is well worth it. A magnificent garnet color with ruby reflections. The nose reveals notes of black fruits as well as some very delicate floral nuances of violet and rose. Lightly toasted notes like coffee add character and depth. In the mouth, a very beautiful harmony. An underlying freshness supports the wine and leads to a long lingering finish with intense tannins that bring depth. Suitable for aging and will improve with proper cellaring.
